GDPR is a new set of legislation applicable throughout the European Union which seeks to establish the legitimate right or otherwise of organisations to email individuals and organisations throughout the EU.

Although the UK is leaving the EU, the government has made it clear that it expects all British companies to be fully compliant with this legislation until such time as new UK-only legislation is introduced.

Schools.co.uk has produced a free report explaining what GDPR is, and how companies that email schools can show that they are acting in a way that is fully compliant with the new legislation.
